ODEBIT 2008 runs 23-24-25 September 2008 at the CNIT - Paris La Défense.

This 3rd edition of the event will welcome Club Collectivités Locales presented by Mission Ecoter, partners in the exhibition.

The ODEBIT round of conferences will be dedicated to High and Very High Speed Broadband solutions with particular focus on e-education.

It will be organised as a series of conferences and debates in order to encourage exchanges between businesses and local & regional collectivities.

ODEBIT 2008 will present a range of technical solutions (WiMax, WiFi, Mesh, fibre-optic, satellite, CCS, DTTV, mobile TV, etc) without which the new uses and services created by e-applications could not work.

ODEBIT 2008 is now more than ever a bridge between public authorities - in industry, education, teaching, research, innovation, health, etc - and their partners in the private sector.

The Grenelle du Très Haut Débit, an extended forum exploring Very High Speed Broadband, will take place during ODEBIT 2008 on Tuesday 23 September 2008 between 9am and 6pm. This multipartite debate will bring together representatives from government and industry …On a specific theme: Why and how to set up Very High Speed Broadband in France .

This year, ODEBIT 2008 has chosen to spotlight The Maghreb (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia ), punctuating its round of conferences with contributions by industrial and political personalities.
